We are a pub situated in the middle of Colchester town centre. We offer a wide range of food, coffee and drinks in the day and then turn into the top rock & indie venue at night. Friendly atmosphere from both staff and customers.

At our pub, we proudly offer our guests to taste our award winning ales and beers brewed from carefully selected barley, wheat and hops.

East Coast IPA 4.0% ABV

From Greene King, this hand crafted brew combines the heady aroma of American hops with the refreshment of traditional British ales. Cold, gold and insanely drinkable. Amarillo in the copper and as a late hop gives East Coast IPA its citrus fruits, floral and spicy notes.

Heineken Extra Cold 5.0% ABV

From the cobblestone streets of Amsterdam comes Heineken Extra Cold. A beer served at sub-zero temperatures to achieve a one-of-a-kind drinking experience. This new form of Heineken has taken the world by storm and has finally embraced our sunny shores.

Heineken Extra Cold is Heineken that is plunged to -3 degrees by state-of-the-art technology and served in super-chilled glasses so you get the crisp and light flavour of Heineken – while remaining true to the original recipe.

San Miguel 5.0% ABV

The UK’s number 1 Spanish lager, it is a pilsner style lager, golden in colour, sparkling with a generous white creamy head. The taste is full bodied with a refreshing balance of bitterness from the hops and sweetness from the malt. (Vegan Lager)

Carlsberg 3.8% ABV

Truly an international brand served in 140 countries worldwide. A blonde, crystal clear pilsner style lager with a flavour of hops, grains, pine needles and Danish summer apples and a harmoniously balanced taste. (Vegan Lager)

Fosters 4.0% ABV

A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster’s lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability.

Birra Moretti 4.6% ABV

Birra Moretti premium Italian Lager a quality beer made in the traditional way which is a result of a production process that has remained unchanged since 1859. The best raw materials are used to make Birra Moretti, as well as a special blend that gives it a unique taste and fragrance.

Leffe Blond 6.6% ABV

Smooth and subtle 6.6% – Leffe Blond is an authentic blond abbey beer with a slight hint of bitterness to it.

Colchester No.1 - 4.1% ABV

A classic English best bitter, copper in colour. Whole leaf Boadicea hops for flavour and definitive aroma of East Kent Goldings. Still using the same recipe from the first ever brew.

Fullers London Pride 4.1% ABV

Tawny coloured premium ale- The iconic Ale of the capital, London Pride is an all British affair that unites a nation of beer drinkers. It’s brewed with entirely homegrown hop varieties- Target for bittering and Northdown Challenger and Goldings for aroma- but the soul of the beer is unquestionably in the malt.

Ghost Ship 4.5% ABV

Pale Ale with a good assertive pithy bitterness and a malty backbone. It is brewed using Rye, Citra and a blend of other American hop varieties to create a great citrus flavour.

West Coast Wherry 4.3% ABV

Dark Golden session Ale – Take a trip to the West Coast of the USA and discover the blend of England’s finest with characteristic U.S flavours with American Amarillo and Cascade Hops fuse to create fresh and zesty flavours and crisp oral aromas.

Maldon Gold 3.8% ABV

Silver Award Supreme Champion Beer of Britain 2007, brewed using only Maris Otter pale malt for a light golden ale with biscuity malt flavours. Mount Hood and first gold hops give a distinctive with a long dry bitter finish.

Doom Bar 4% ABV

From Sharp’s Brewery. A Cornish amber ale with an enticing aroma of resinous hop, sweet malt and delicate roasted notes. The mouth feel is a balanced, complex blend of succulent dried fruit, lightly roasted malt and a subtle yet assertive bitterness. Our most popular ale!

Gordon’s Premium Pink Gin - 37.5% ABV

Warner Edwards Rhubarb Gin - 40% ABV

Rhubarb juice extracted using a traditional fruit press and blended with Harringtons Dry Gin creating a sweet and tangy rhubarb explosion.

Produced by hand using bespoke handbill copper stills only 100 bottles produced at a time since founded in 2013 this gin is a multi-award winning London Dry Gin.
